David Chapa is originally from the Chicago, Illinois area, where he played at churches and coffee houses and benefits with his band for nearly ten years.  After moving to Colorado in 2003, he returned to songwriting and recording.  David has recorded two albums, performed for thousands of people as a solo artist and with his critically acclaimed performance of He Wore Black, a Johnny Cash Tribute Show, and is frequently seen performing all over Colorado.  David is a member of the Americana Music Association, ASCAP, and GMA.
