David Chapa is originally from the Chicago, Illinois area where he played at churches, coffee houses, and benefits with his band for nearly 10 years.  After moving to Colorado in 2003, he returned to songwriting and recording.  David has recorded 2 albums, performed for thousands of people both as a solo artist and with his critically acclaimed performance of He Wore Black, a Johnny Cash Tribute Show, and is a can be frequently seen enjoying the local music scene of Douglas County, Colorado.  David is a member of the Americana Music Association, ASCAP, and the GMA.
